Design for fabrication
From a reference image or sketch to parts on the shop floor: we model every piece, plan how it is cut, sliced, nested and assembled, and hand over files a fabricator can build from.
For: Brands, experiential agencies, fabrication shops and artists taking a concept to a built object.
What we do
- Fabrication models in Rhino and Fusion, organised by part, layer and finish
- CNC slicing, foam and ply stacking, armatures and registration
- Nesting on stock sheets, part IDs and assembly sequences
- Exploded assembly views and part callouts for the shop and the client
- Image or scan to 3D: turning a single reference into a buildable form
- Experiential and retail fixtures: booths, kiosks, cabinets, facades and trim

How we work
- Brief and constraints: site, loads, budget, fabrication method, deadline
- Model as a system: driving geometry and rules, reviewed in an interactive 3D view
- Iterate with you until it is right, while everything stays editable
- Hand-off: production models, drawings and fabrication files in your formats
Questions
Can you design something that's ready for a fabricator?
Yes, that is the point of the work: every part modelled, named and nested, with the cut method and assembly order planned, so the shop can price and build it.
We only have a reference image. Is that enough?
Often. The 10 ft swan started as one photo of a ceramic swan: image to point cloud, to mesh, to 4 in foam slices around a plywood armature, nested onto 8×4 ft sheets.
Do you work on experiential and retail projects?
Yes, for example the Inside Out CORE MEMORIES photo booth for Disneyland: 2,058 parts modelled in Rhino for fabrication.
